Floridian Ceramics is a working pottery studio in Tampa's Seminole Heights - founded by a fourth-generation Floridian who grew up with clay in her hands. Come take your first class.
Learn the basics of wheel-thrown pottery in this beginner class - centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping simple forms. Two hours, two handmade bowls, no experience needed.
Throw a matching set of two latte cups and two saucers over three Sundays in November - throwing, handles and trimming, then glazing. Four spots, $275.
Reserve Your SpotOffice party, birthday, bachelorette, or just your people. Book the studio for up to 12–15 guests - wheel throwing, hand-building, or Paint & Sip - with hands-on instruction from Haley. BYOB, no experience needed, and everyone leaves with a piece they made.
Plan Your Party
Floridian Ceramics is tucked into Tampa's Seminole Heights neighborhood - a bright and cozy studio built around community and making things by hand.
Classes stay small and personal. You get real, individual instruction from Haley, time at the wheel, and a relaxed space to explore at your own pace.
It was my first time making pottery, and Haley was an amazing teacher! I had so much fun and love my piece!
The Intro to Wheel Throwing class was great. Haley was super encouraging and patient! Booking was easy, the studio is bright and beautiful and the end results far exceeded my expectations. 10/10
The studio is intimate and Haley gives one on one hands on instruction with each student. Truly a relaxing, creative and fun experience. You can BYOB too :)

Most corporate holiday parties follow the same script: a banquet room, a buffet line, and forty minutes of small talk about traffic. This year, give your team something they can actually hold onto.

Birthdays in Tampa usually look the same - dinner out, drinks somewhere loud, maybe a bar crawl if the group is feeling ambitious. All fun. None of them particularly memorable a week later.
